Isaiah 53:5 ~ “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.”
PERFECT PEACE: THE PRICE PAID FOR MY PEACE
Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who knew no sin, was beaten, pounded, crushed, and mutilated beyond recognition for our immoral behavior! The very Prince of Peace endured physical abuse, mental anguish, and relentless reprimands to provide us peace! With this fact in mind, we can and will go through these trying times, knowing that our God has completed the work to provide us with a peace so calming, so freeing, and so healing. Life and all that it brings can invoke fear and anxiety in men’s hearts, and a pandemic such as this can be overwhelming. Saints, be encouraged and allow God to surround you with His perfect peace that soothes all doubts and calms all fears.
