Sept 7 ~ STAYING CONNECTED TO THE POWER SOURCE:  OPEN YOUR HEART WHEN YOU OPEN YOUR BIBLE!

Sept 7 ~ STAYING CONNECTED TO THE POWER SOURCE:  OPEN YOUR HEART WHEN YOU OPEN YOUR BIBLE!

James 1:21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.”

Covid-19 has a lot of us stuck in our homes, away from assembling ourselves at church. But we can still hear from God. We can listen to services on YouTube or Facebook, or CDs, or tapes.  But, there is no better way to receive a Word from God than just simply reading the Bible.  Open your heart when you open your Bible and receive with meekness the Word of God that is able to save your souls.

Sept 6 ~ STAYING CONNECTED TO THE POWER SOURCE: THE POWER SOURCE

Sept 6 ~ STAYING CONNECTED TO THE POWER SOURCE: THE POWER SOURCE

Ephesians 3:20 “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us”

I think about every obstacle, every setback, everything that wanted me to throw in the towel and give up on all God had in store for me in my life. There were times I thought I was bound to give up, but that still small voice kept me going, holding on to my faith and believing that God is always with me, guiding me, correcting me, and seeing me through everything that wanted to destroy me. Saints, God has not forgotten about you.  He is faithful, trustworthy, loving, patient, kind, almighty, and powerful. Just trust Him because He hears you, He sees you, and He loves you!

Sept 5 ~ STAYING CONNECTED TO THE POWER SOURCE: THE POWER OF LOVE!

Sept 5 ~ STAYING CONNECTED TO THE POWER SOURCE: THE POWER OF LOVE!

Ephesians 2:4-5 “But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)”

The Bible has already told us that all those who try and build their house through their own efforts, will end up laboring in vain when it is all said and done. You can only reach your true, divine destiny in the Lord if He is personally guiding yours steps and empowering you along the way with His divine power and grace. There is no other way. Saints of the Most High GOD, let’s stay connected to the Power!!!

Sept 4 ~ STAYING CONNECTED TO THE POWER SOURCE: GOD’S PEACE

Sept 4 ~ STAYING CONNECTED TO THE POWER SOURCE: GOD’S PEACE

Romans 15:13 Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.”

“Now the GOD of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing.” In other words, by believing in GOD and His Word, we are filled with joy and peace. The power of the Spirit is the result of believing in the faith that begets joy and peace. Put your confidence and your trust in GOD’S word so fully, that joy and peace abound and the Holy Spirit is released in your life with extraordinary power and hope.

Sept 3 ~ STAYING CONNECTED TO THE POWER SOURCE:  GIVE LOVE

Sept 3 ~ STAYING CONNECTED TO THE POWER SOURCE:  GIVE LOVE

2 Peter 1:8 “For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Charity or love is the first fruit of the Spirit mentioned in Galatians 5:22.  Without charity we will be unfruitful to our Lord Jesus Christ.  God is love and He proved it by giving us His only son.  The world is in dire need of love.  Let us take the opportunity to show the love of Christ to someone today.”

Sept 2 ~ STAYING CONNECTED TO THE POWER SOURCE: THE POWER WITHIN

Sept 2 ~ STAYING CONNECTED TO THE POWER SOURCE: THE POWER WITHIN

Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”

There was a time in my life when I tried to stop smoking on my own, but I couldn’t do it.  I didn’t have the power!  After I received THE HOLY GHOST, I had the Power to quit instantly!!  Saints, all we need to do is keep the faith in our POWER  SOURCE, JESUS CHRIST!!

Sept 1 ~ STAYING CONNECTED TO THE POWER SOURCE:  A POWER TO TAKE YOU FROM EARTH TO GLORY

Sept 1 ~ STAYING CONNECTED TO THE POWER SOURCE:  A POWER TO TAKE YOU FROM EARTH TO GLORY

Acts 2:3-4 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.  And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.”

What do you have in you that will stabilize you in these unprecedented times?  When Peter and those with him (including Mary, the mother of Jesus) emerged from the upper room, they were endowed with an everlasting power that would prove to sustain them in times of persecution and hardship.  Even in this pandemic, our great God can hold you firm, but you must be willing to remain connected to the power source.  Saints of God, be careful to value the parameters of God’s Word by remaining steadfast in prayer, Bible reading, fasting, and in that which you have been taught.  Stay connected to the only power – this Holy Ghost power – that will propel you from earth to glory real soon.

Aug 31 ~ KEEPING AN ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE IN PRAYER:  THANKFUL…GRATEFUL…BLESSED

Aug 31 ~ KEEPING AN ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE IN PRAYER:  THANKFUL…GRATEFUL…BLESSED

Matthew 6:6 “But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.”

Prayer is having a conversation with God to strengthen your connection with Him.  After talking with God, be still and allow Him to speak with you and direct your path. Though He already knows the desires of your heart before you say or ask anything of Him, find it vital to go before the throne of grace with thanksgiving in your heart, thanking Him for everything!  Let Him know you love and appreciate Him, not just for what He’s done, but for who He is!  As you commit to appreciation and adoration to God in prayer, you will be rewarded (Matthew 6:6).

Aug 30 ~ KEEPING AN ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE IN PRAYER: DON’T PRAY LIKE THE HYPOCRITES

Aug 30 ~ KEEPING AN ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE IN PRAYER: DON’T PRAY LIKE THE HYPOCRITES

Matthew 6:5 “And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.”

Pharisee religious leaders wanted to be seen as holy by praying in public. Jesus saw through their self-righteous act, and taught that the essentials of prayer is not to gain attention publicly, but to engage in private communication with God. While there is a place for public prayer, to pray only where others will notice you is an indication that your real audience is man, not God. In this passage God is telling the new religious leaders and all those that will partake of the new covenant, that HE is the author and the finisher of their faith! With that being said, intimate and honest communication with Him, to gain HIS attention and NOT man’s, is true relationship.

Aug 29 ~ KEEPING AN ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE IN PRAYER:  A THANKFUL SOUL KNOWS ITS SOURCE

Aug 29 ~ KEEPING AN ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE IN PRAYER:  A THANKFUL SOUL KNOWS ITS SOURCE

Psalm 63:1 “O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;”

Let us be thankful today for being able to come before God and to acknowledge Him as -Abba- our Father.   Let our need and desire for Him be above anything that this world has to offer.  Keep an attitude of gratitude by continuing to press after Him in prayer for He is our source.
