July 19 ~ I HAVE NO REASON TO FEAR:  THERE CAN BE NO ENLIGHTENMENT  WITHOUT HIS LIGHT

July 19 ~ I HAVE NO REASON TO FEAR:  THERE CAN BE NO ENLIGHTENMENT WITHOUT HIS LIGHT

Psalm 27:1 “The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear?  The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”

There was a time when I walked in darkness and doubt.  But one day, I embraced the plan of salvation for my life.  I repented of my sins, was baptized in Jesus Name, and the Lord filled me with gift of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues.  The Lord is now my light and my salvation; I walk in a state of understanding and enlightenment. The Lord is my strength and there is no one or no thing I have to fear.

July 18 I HAVE NO REASON TO FEAR:  BE NOT AFRAID, ONLY BELIEVE

July 18 I HAVE NO REASON TO FEAR:  BE NOT AFRAID, ONLY BELIEVE

Mark 5:36 “As soon as Jesus heard the word that was spoken, he saith unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.”

We are living in a time of fear, confusion, and uncertainty in the world.  Our hope must always be in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  We must always believe, ask, seek, and knock for God’s presence, protection, and provision in our lives (Matthew 7:7-8; John 14:13-14).  Daily renewed spiritual strength and faith comes from the Word of God and prayer.  When we trust God and His Word, we are reminded that no evil and no plague will harm us; therefore, we have no reason to fear.

July 17 ~ I HAVE NO REASON TO FEAR:  FEAR NOT

July 17 ~ I HAVE NO REASON TO FEAR: FEAR NOT

Hebrews 13:5-6 “Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have:  for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.  So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.”

Did you know that when you meditate on seeds (thoughts) of fear you allow your will to partner with the plans of the enemy?  Eventually, you will speak those thoughts into the atmosphere, creating fertile ground for fear to grow, giving credence and power to the enemy to work in your life.  But the good news is, that you can overcome fear.  The Apostle Paul tells us in Hebrews 13:6, that we can boldly say that the Lord is our helper (succor)-our assistance and support in times of distress.  So say this now, “The Lord is my helper,  I will not fear.”

July 16 ~ I HAVE NO REASON TO FEAR:  GOD CONTINUES TO CARE AND PROVIDE

July 16 ~ I HAVE NO REASON TO FEAR:  GOD CONTINUES TO CARE AND PROVIDE

Genesis 26:24 “And the LORD appeared unto him the same night, and said, I am the God of Abraham thy father:  fear not, for I am with thee, and will bless thee, and multiply thy seed for my servant Abraham’s sake.”

How reassuring it is to know that even in times of uncertainty, unrest, disease and virus, God will be with us to meet our every need!  While famine was in the land, God consistently provided for Isaac and his children.  Though Isaac had many disputes with the enemy over wells that both he and his father Abraham dug, the Lord provided for His people in the midst of a drought.  Just as God sustained His people then, He will do the same for us today.  He is always concerned about the things that concern us and promises to bless His people.

July 15 ~ I HAVE NO REASON TO FEAR:  DON’T FEAR, FLOURISH

July 15 ~ I HAVE NO REASON TO FEAR:  DON’T FEAR, FLOURISH

Psalm 34:4 “I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.”

Words like “the new normal”, “COVID-19”, “social distancing,” “layoffs,” and “fear of the unknown” pervade the conversations of so many these days.  Fear is a natural, emotional response to a perceived threat to one’s security or general welfare, but to flourish is to grow or develop in an environment.  The Word of God encourages us not to fear but flourish regardless of the unknown.  Psalm 34:4 (AMP) encourages us, “I sought [inquired of] the Lord and required of Him [of necessity and on the authority of His Word]; and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.”  Because we are His sons and daughters, there is no reason to fear the unknown, but to flourish by placing our faith in the Lord.

July 14 ~ I HAVE NO REASON TO FEAR:  THE BEST REMEDY IS THE FEAR OF GOD

July 14 ~ I HAVE NO REASON TO FEAR:  THE BEST REMEDY IS THE FEAR OF GOD

Luke 12:4 “And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.”

WE HAVE NO REASON TO FEAR man or sickness for these things have no dominion over our lives or souls.  Many people worry about what others will think, say, or do to them and as a result, fear settles in their minds.  But, as people of God, we must ONLY have the fear of God in us-not the fear of man, creatures, sickness, or any such thing.  Even though man and sickness can kill, God has the power to both kill and send man to heaven or hell. I encourage you today not to please or worry about man, but please the God who will grant you peace and salvation.

July 13 ~ I HAVE NO REASON TO FEAR:  COMFORT IN TROUBLESOME TIMES

July 13 ~ I HAVE NO REASON TO FEAR:  COMFORT IN TROUBLESOME TIMES

Matthew 14:26-27 “And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, it is a spirit; and they cried out for fear.  But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.”

We as saints have no reason to fear because we have the whole armour of God and with it we must continue to fast and pray hard during this pandemic.  When the disciples saw Jesus walking on the sea, they thought they saw a ghost and began to cry out in fear.  But Jesus made known who he was to calm their fears.  As saints of God, Jesus has so graciously revealed himself to us, reminding us in His Word of who we are and what we have through Him.  Today, let us rejoice in the fact that we are His children, covered by His blood and comforted in these troublesome times.

July 12 ~ I HAVE NO REASON TO FEAR:  LET YOUR FAITH BE BIGGER THAN YOUR FEAR

July 12 ~ I HAVE NO REASON TO FEAR:  LET YOUR FAITH BE BIGGER THAN YOUR FEAR

Psalm 91:5-6 “Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.”

The words ‘fear not’ appear 365 times in the Bible to remind us daily that God is in control and we have no reason to fear in times of joblessness, deaths, riots, or disease.  Fear is a natural weapon that Satan uses against us, to overwhelm us with a thick shadow of darkness, and to control our every move and decision.  When I lost my job, I began to worry about the unknown.  However as I prayed, God calmed my fears and reassured me that He was and still is my Provider.  So, now you choose:  Forget Everything And Run or Face Everything And Rise.

July 11~ I HAVE NO REASON TO FEAR:  NO FEAR IN LOVE

July 11~ I HAVE NO REASON TO FEAR:  NO FEAR IN LOVE

I John 4:18 “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear:  because fear hath torment.  He that feareth is not made perfect in love.”

There is no fear in love.  There is no fear of God’s judgment because genuine love confirms salvation.

July 10 ~ I HAVE NO REASON TO FEAR: I AM WITH YOU

July 10 ~ I HAVE NO REASON TO FEAR: I AM WITH YOU

Isaiah 43:5 “Fear not:  for I am with thee:  I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west.”

Though Israel would be in captivity and scattered abroad for many years, the prophet Isaiah reassured the Nation that there would be a time when God would bring and gather them together again.  They would suffer much, but God would never leave them for they were His.  God speaks to us today as we are also His, having been grafted in as His chosen people.  Saints of God, don’t fear the coronavirus or any trial that this life may bring.  We have this assurance and this certainty from our Father, “Fear not:  for I am with thee.
