Oct 11 ~ THE NEW LIFE SHOULD NEVER GET OLD: MAINTAINING WHAT YOU HAVE OBTAINED
Romans 6:6 “Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.”
As saints of God, we have received new life and this new life must be cultivated through prayer, fasting, studying the Word, and yielding to the preached Word of God from the one sent. Daily, we must utilize the tools that God has given us in order to maintain this new life. These tools are important because Satan constantly seeks the opportunity for us to obey sin. So today, rise and shine because NEW LIFE has come! We are living this life to live again in a land where we shall never grow old!

Oct 10 ~ THE NEW LIFE SHOULD NEVER GET OLD: WE HAVE HOPE FOR A BETTER DAY

Oct 10 ~ THE NEW LIFE SHOULD NEVER GET OLD: WE HAVE HOPE FOR A BETTER DAY
Romans 6:4 “Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.”
So often when trouble comes in our lives, we look at the trouble when we should be looking through the trouble. When we look at trouble, we feel stress, anxiety, sadness, loneliness, fear, and sometimes we even lose hope. As children of God, we have been taught to trust God and what He said in His Word. Therefore, when we face trouble, reach back and grab hold of God’s Word and put His Word like a shield between you and the trouble. Speak to the trouble and say God said, “We should walk in newness of life” and because He said it, we have hope for a better day.

Oct 9 ~ THE NEW LIFE SHOULD NEVER GET OLD: RELEASED FOR BENEFITS

Oct 9 ~ THE NEW LIFE SHOULD NEVER GET OLD: RELEASED FOR BENEFITS
Romans 7:4 “Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.”
Romans 7:4 reminds us of our release from the law and motions of sins. The New International Version states in the latter clause of this verse “in order that we might bear fruit for God!” As you go through the days to come, constantly remind yourself that you were released from sin, through salvation, to bear fruit for the Creator of the universe. You are a chosen vessel of God to help someone who has yet to understand the benefits of being released from the ways of sin. So today, testify of the benefits of your release in expectation of someone else to receive a release!

Oct 8 ~ THE NEW LIFE SHOULD NEVER GET OLD: A NEW ME IN CHRIST

Oct 8 ~ THE NEW LIFE SHOULD NEVER GET OLD: A NEW ME IN CHRIST
2 Corinthians 5:17 “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.”
When you walk with Christ, you are walking in the newness of life. You must allow your faith in God to be bigger than scars of your past and not allow what hurt you to hinder you. In order to do that, your mindset must change and you must believe you are who God says you are. Give yourself some grace and take comfort in knowing that God can turn old pain into new power for His purpose. Be encouraged!

Oct 7 ~ THE NEW LIFE SHOULD NEVER GET OLD: THE BENEFITS OF BEING SONS OF GOD

Oct 7 ~ THE NEW LIFE SHOULD NEVER GET OLD: THE BENEFITS OF BEING SONS OF GOD
I John 3:1 “Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.”
Now that we have become the sons of God through His love, we have access to His kingdom. This new life gives us unlimited benefits and brand new mercies that are renewed every morning. “Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits” (Psalms 103:2). May we give thanks to God always for the exceptional grace He has shown us by making us His children.

Oct 6 ~ THE NEW LIFE SHOULD NEVER GET OLD: WORDS FITLY SPOKEN

Oct 6 ~ THE NEW LIFE SHOULD NEVER GET OLD: WORDS FITLY SPOKEN
James 1:27 “Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.”
“A wholesome tongue is a tree of life”(Proverbs 15:4) bringing purity to the whole body. As saints, obedience to God is to be followed even to the level of every word we speak. Our attitudes (whether positive or negative, godly or ungodly) will be displayed in our words, our conversations, our actions. Oh, “what manner of persons ought we to be in all holy conversation and godliness” as we live before God and sinners (2 Peter 3:11). Let us use our tongues as “words fitly spoken” to tell of God’s goodness to everyone who are yet in their sins (afflictions) and don’t know Jesus as their Father through the New Birth experience.

Oct 4 ~ THE NEW LIFE SHOULD NEVER GET OLD: FRUIT THAT GLORIFIES GOD

Oct 4 ~ THE NEW LIFE SHOULD NEVER GET OLD: FRUIT THAT GLORIFIES GOD
St. John 15:8 “Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.”
We have faced many obstacles over these past six months. But, overcoming these obstacles have proven to give God all the glory. Living through a pandemic has been difficult. Yet, we as saints still thrive and continue to raise up a Spirit-filled house of prayer that builds the kingdom, wins the lost, and develops the believer to live righteously and victoriously. Obeying and reading God’s Word (reading 5 to stay alive), praying, and fasting have yielded fruit necessary to bring glory to the Father and to show the world that we are His disciples.

Oct 3 ~ THE NEW LIFE SHOULD NEVER GET OLD: I ALONE, AM NOTHING

Oct 3 ~ THE NEW LIFE SHOULD NEVER GET OLD: I ALONE, AM NOTHING
St. John 15:5 “I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.”
Without God we are nothing and can be nothing. We are totally reliant and dependent upon Him. Acknowledgement of this keeps us humble, but at the same time empowers us. While without God we are nothing, WITH Him we become victors, giant slayers, overcomers, champions, conquerors, empowered, and a reflection of the power of God in this world. Everything that we are and everything that we will become hinges on being connected to the Vine which is Christ our Lord.

Oct 2 ~ THE NEW LIFE SHOULD NEVER GET OLD: THE LIVING TREE

Oct 2 ~ THE NEW LIFE SHOULD NEVER GET OLD: THE LIVING TREE
St. John 15:4 “Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.”
Jesus is the Tree of Life and without Him we can do nothing! He went to the Cross and died for all of our sins. You must accept Jesus Christ into your life by receiving the Holy Ghost. Jesus is the Tree, I am the branch. I don’t want to be a dead branch, so I must stay connected to the Tree of life which is Jesus Christ.
